If you have been charged with a moving violation in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia, you may be eligible to attend a AAA Driver Improvement Course.
If you have committed a traffic offense, the court will instruct you to attend a four- or eight-hour defensive driving course. There's little difference between the two. The one you take depends on where you live.
Both courses cover the benefits of being a safe and responsible driver and techniques for avoiding high-risk driving behaviors. You'll learn how to respond to immediate dangers and anticipate potential hazards.
Successful completion of this course may reduce points from your driver's license.
